Commercial wins in today’s game market don’t come easy.

In fact, over 90% of games are failed by preventable design, positioning, or retention mistakes. These issues have nothing to do with talent and everything to do with oversized scope and internal blind spots.

Through collaboration and a focus on excellence, we help studios de-risk games and convert 'potential' into top-tier, market-leading titles in a competitive industry.

Founded in 2024, MGN Global brings extensive risk and QA experience to give developers a critical edge. This approach accelerates iteration by up to 300%, enabling faster validation, smarter decisions, and stronger market performance.

We are in active collaboration or contact with over 10 studios worldwide, including teams in Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, and several U.S. states.

A recap of key industry events:

  • Microsoft Gaming layoffs deepen
In a fourth major restructuring, Microsoft Gaming (including Xbox, ZeniMax, King) cut as many as 9,100 jobs—around 4% of its global workforce. Multiple high-profile titles, including Perfect Dark and Everwild, were canceled, and The Initiative studio was closed.

  • Steam And itch.io Purge Adult Games
Thousands of adult-themed titles were removed after payment processors enforced content restrictions. Developers warned this sets a precedent for censorship via financial control.

Ubisoft and Embracer Group confirmed workforce reductions totaling around 500 positions combined, as part of ongoing restructuring efforts.

  • Regulator Scrutiny On Player Safety Intensifies
The game industry is prioritizing online harassment and safety issues amid new regulations like the EU’s Digital Services Act.

  • Gaming Industry Approaches $190 Billion In Revenue
Newzoo’s Q2 market update pegs 2025 global gaming revenue at $188.9 billion, up 3.4% from 2024. The global games market is estimated to surpass $200 billion by 2027, at a CAGR of 3.3%.
